Monique C. Field-Foster, a senior counsel with Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been appointed to the board of directors of Peckham, Inc. and the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics.

Lansing-based Peckham&nbsp;is a nonprofit vocational rehabilitation organization that provides paid job training opportunities for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. For more than 42 years, Peckham has provided jobs&nbsp;and job skills&nbsp;training&nbsp;to thousands of individuals with barriers through five different business lines throughout Michigan. It also has operations in Phoenix and London, Kentucky. It is a national award–winning organization that has been recognized for its achievement in providing exceptional vocational rehabilitation, creating inclusive&nbsp;cultures&nbsp;and building quality workplaces for employees.&nbsp;

The National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics, or NILE, is the premier trade association for lobbying, public policy and government affairs professionals across the country. Based in Fairfax, Virginia, NILE &nbsp;promotes professionalism, competence and high ethical standards through continuing education as it works to provide a unified voice for the lobbying profession and the First Amendment right to petition government.&nbsp;

An experienced lobbyist and policy analyst, Field-Foster practices in Warner’s Lansing office as senior counsel of government affairs. She concentrates her practice on all facets of government affairs, including policy strategy and development, analysis and drafting of legislation, legislative events, contract review and other advocacy initiatives.

Prior to joining Warner, Field-Foster served as assistant vice president of strategic initiatives in the Michigan State University Office of Governmental Affairs. She also has served as an attorney-lobbyist for Wiener Associates, director of governmental affairs for the Michigan Department of Management and Budget, deputy director of legislative affairs for the governor’s office and a legislative policy analyst for the Michigan House of Representatives.&nbsp;

Field-Foster is a Council of State Government Henry Toll Fellow and a Big 10 Academic Alliance Leadership Fellow. A former member of the Michigan State Bar Representative Assembly, she also is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association.
