In his spare time, Bob loves to fly fish. He also likes to bake bread – and began doing so long before the pandemic popularized this trend. Forget bread machines; Bob prefers the old-fashioned approach, using a baking stone and an oven. His current sour dough starter is actually a collaboration, containing a bit of a decades-old starter from a firm colleague’s family in Alaska. Bob especially appreciates that bread is a living thing, susceptible to humidity and other environmental conditions. “Bread teaches you to be watchful and flexible, to not be so rigid and, above all, to trust yourself,” he says – all very good qualities in your corporate + cannabis counsel.
