Josh Hoebeke focuses his practice on litigation with an emphasis on soft intellectual property enforcement and disputes. His affinity for intellectual property combined with his strong orating and writing skills create the ideal blend that makes him a natural fit for Warner’s clients and its Intellectual Property Enforcement and Litigation Practice Group.

He is also inventive, determined and adaptable in his approach to research, writing and debate. Josh absorbs knowledge quickly and is most content when solving complex problems. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and communication summa cum laude from Saginaw Valley State University. He earned his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law summa cum laude. Josh also worked numerous positions with the Michigan Legislature since 2016. While in law school, he received Jurisprudence Achievement awards across studies in intellectual property law; trademark law and unfair competition; research, writing, and analysis; criminal procedure; and basic will drafting. Out of over 200 briefs submitted, a brief of his won the Donald Nystrom Best Brief Competition. Additionally, in Moot Court, he and his teammates were named the best oralist team at the 2020 National Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court competition, placing second overall.
