I genuinely enjoy what I do. I especially revel in succession planning because it intersects estate planning and business planning – my core practice areas. I take ownership and pride in helping clients successfully transition their business to the next generation. And, the relationships I build are long-standing as I assist multiple generations of families realize their goals. I am skilled at simplifying legal terms and documents so the plans are easy to discern by all family members. I craft each plan to every unique need, as no one individual, family or business is exclusively alike.

Danelle Harrington focuses her practice on trusts and estates ─ assisting individuals, families and businesses plan for today and generations to come. Within her practice, Danelle helps clients develop and fine tune their estate plans and manage probate and trust administration after the death of a loved one – a daunting area of law where she excels. She drafts and prepares power of attorney, health patient advocate documents, wills, trusts and all other compilations necessary to estate planning packages.

In addition to trusts, estates and post-death administration, Danelle counsels businesses on entity formation, succession planning and real estate issues involving farmland or any real estate that is part of the business. A particular area of specialty includes farmland transactions involving real estate and drafting and reviewing solar energy agreements and other alternative energy agreements.

Having grown up on her family’s farm, Danelle understands her clients’ mindset and attachment to farmland, including the assets they’ve worked so hard to protect. That’s why she’s at her finest in every interaction – providing sound advice and advocacy to achieve the best results. And, she offers this advice in a down-to-earth and comprehensive manner, omitting complicated legalese that can often confuse and distract from the task at hand.
